Overview

Analogify helps you learn concepts through analogies. This policy describes what we collect, why we use it, and your choices. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Information we collect

  • Account data: email address, name (if provided), password hash (for email/password sign-in), and profile image URL when you use Google sign-in.
  • Usage and content: the concepts and options you submit for generation, generated outputs we return to you, and technical metadata about each request (for example tokens used, models, latency, and error messages) stored in our database for operations, abuse prevention, and product improvement.
  • Sessions: cookies and similar technologies used by our authentication provider (NextAuth) to keep you signed in.

Third parties and AI processing

To generate explanations, mappings, diagrams, and stories, we send your prompts and related context to OpenAI (or another configured model provider). Their processing is governed by their terms and privacy policy. Do not submit sensitive personal data, secrets, or confidential information you are not allowed to share.

How we use information

We use the data above to provide the service, enforce rate limits, secure accounts, troubleshoot issues, and understand aggregate usage. Administrators may view request logs tied to accounts for support and cost monitoring.

Retention

We retain data as long as your account exists and as needed for security and legal obligations. You may request deletion of your account by contacting the operator of this deployment; deletion behavior may depend on how the service is hosted.

Children

The service is not directed at children under 13. Do not use Analogify if you are under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
